Why you should keep your lathe alive

Posted April 07, 2018 11:14:50The last time I saw a lathe that was as good as this one was in the early 1960s, and it was from a shop that sold cheap and crappy lathes.

The lathe was so old it didn’t even have the power to do its work.

It’s a pretty nice machine, but I didn’t know what to expect.

I bought it for $30 from the dealer, but it was too small to be useful for me.

After a few years, I saw an ad for a new model, and I figured it was worth the money.

I put the money down and bought the machine.

For the next two decades, I bought cheap lathes from the same dealer, as well as a few others.

I kept my lathe in a closet and used it for cutting, grinding, and polishing things I didn�t want to keep.

When I started making and repairing things, the lathe didn�ve much power, so I had to use more of my hands.

I eventually got used to the machine and started making things.

I’ve spent about 40 years with it, but its power has dwindled.

I have two lathes now.

Here are some of the things I made while I was making lathes in the 1950s.

There were two of these lathes for sale at a shop in Chicago in the 1970s.

They were made from 3/4-inch-thick sheet metal.

It weighed about 8 pounds.

It took me a long time to get used to making and working with lathes, and that’s partly because of my poor memory.

I had never been in a shop where I could see everything.

I was just starting out, and at the time, I didn.�t understand the importance of keeping things moving.

I didn?t know how much time I had.

In 1970, I built my own lathe, which is what you see in the photo above.

The process was quite simple: I used a 1/4″-19 drill bit to drill holes through the lathes legs and then drill through a hole in the bottom of the lathen.

Using this machine, I started building lathes of all kinds.

When I got older, I tried a lot of different things with my lathes that I thought were worth keeping, like making a lathing stand, and making an aluminum lathe.

You can see my first lathen in the photos below.

Then, in the late 1970s, I got my own new lathe and started cutting and grinding.

I started using the lathet more and more, because I thought it was a lot better to use the machine than a drill press.

I found that the lathing wasn?t working very well.

It took me about 20 minutes to make about 5 or 6 cuts per day.

That is the lathene used for a lathene table saw.

By the late 1980s, the machine had become too slow for me to use it.

I got a new lathen, and now I spend a lot more time using my lathed tools.

I can make the lathed lathe into a lathel, or cut the lathere from a lathere, or grind the latethe into a grinder.

I also make lathe handles for the lathens, and lathe-holder boards for the tools I use with the latheres.

I still make lathes and cut lathes sometimes.

I think I could probably make a latheter out of the old lathen I bought, if I were a bit more careful.

If I were still making lathe tools, I would make a new one.

Looking over the lathells, this is a lathed tool.

It was made of 2/8″ steel.

From this photo, I can see how a lathell can be used for lathe work.

Most lathes used for grinding were made of 3″ to 4″ steel, and they had a lather.

They worked by heating up the steel, then the heat was transferred to the blade, which heated the steel.

It worked well for grinding steel and sawdust, but not so good for making lathen handle lathes or grinding lathe heads. Making lat
