Which metals are being processed for steel?

By GREGORY SANDERSBETTAPA, Associated PressSOUTH FLORIDA (AP) The Pittsburgh Metal Processing and Storage Company says it has recovered the remains of an employee who went missing after he allegedly fell into a steel pit in the city’s Lake Erie basin.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (http://bit.ly/2eJXJ7i ) reports that the company’s emergency response team discovered the body Thursday at a nearby water source.

Police say the employee, identified as Daniel C., had fallen into a pit in Lake Erie on Jan. 16, 2017, and died from hypothermia.

The company says it hasn’t released the cause of death.

A witness who lives on the property told police he saw C. fall into the pit about 30 minutes after he disappeared.

He says he tried to revive him, but he never recovered.

The witness told police C. appeared to be dead.
